We at Houston offer you a wide variety
of reasons to get attracted to one of the largest cities
in the States. The city that dodges the heat and soaks
in the humidity is also the city that is host to so many
wonders, that it is impossible to list all of them. But
then well begun is half done

Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens
The Collection is one of USA's foremost
assemblages of American decorative arts dating from 1620
through 1870. The objects in the collection are among
the finest examples of American design and craftsmanship. |
City Hall
The hall is one of the finest examples
of a building being used exactly for the purpose it was
intended for when it was built. In the grillwork above
the main entrances are aluminum medallions of the "great
lawgivers" such as Julius Caesar, Moses, and Thomas
Jefferson. Today, though the building is tall, and is
one of the first buildings air conditioned in Houston,
it no longer inspires the awe it once did. |
Texas Medical Center
It's a virtual med-tropolis. Texas
Medical Center houses more than 40 member institutions,
including two medical schools, four schools of nursing,
13 renowned hospitals and two specialty institutions.
